Causative Have and Get Let us discuss the causative “HaveandGet” • Definition Causative have and get is used to ask another person to do something.
Patterns • Active Causative Have a. S + have + o (person) + V1 • Active Causative Get b. S + get + o (person) + to + V1 • Passive causative Have c. S + have + o (thing) + V3 + (by….) • Passive Causative Get d. S + get + o (thing) + V3 + (by…)
