Understanding Varicocele Embolisation: Procedure, Benefits & Recovery

One of the most successful treatments possible today is varicocele embolization, a non-surgical procedure with a high success rate and a short recovery time. We understand that the price is a major concern for a lot of patients. For this reason, we guarantee affordability and complete openness. Depending on the city, hospital, and degree of care needed, varicocele embolization in India usually costs between u20b950,000 and u20b990,000. <br>http://www.irfacilities.com/varicocele.php

  2. What is Varicocele Embolisation? Varicocele embolisation is a minimally invasive, non- surgical procedure used to treat varicoceles — enlarged veins in the scrotum that can cause pain, swelling, or infertility in men. This procedure is performed by a specialist called an interventional radiologist using imaging technology to guide treatment from inside the body without the need for open surgery. www.irfacilities.com

  3. Overview A small catheter is inserted through a vein in the groin (femoral vein) or neck (jugular vein). 01 Varicocele embolisation is a minimally invasive, non- surgical treatment used to treat varicoceles — enlarged veins within the scrotum, similar to varicose veins in the legs. This condition can cause pain, swelling, and in some cases, infertility in men. Using X-ray imaging (fluoroscopy), the catheter is guided into the affected testicular vein. 02 A small coil or special fluid (embolic agent) is released to block the faulty vein, rerouting blood flow through healthy veins. 03 04 The catheter is removed, and no stitches are required.

  4. Benefits of Varicocele Embolisation: 01 02 Minimally invasive (no large incision) Quick recovery (often back to work in 1–2 days) 03 04 Effective treatment for pain and infertility Performed under local anesthesia www.irfacilities.com
