[Middle English via Old French (h)orrour from Latin horror -oris (as horrid)] SCOPE // n. 1 a the extent to which it is possible to range (this is beyond the scope of our research). b the sweep or reach of mental activity, observation, or outlook (an intellect limited in its scope). c space or freedom to act (doesn't leave us much scope). 2 Naut. the length of cable extended when a ship rides at anchor. 3 archaic a purpose, end, or intention. [Italian scopo ‘aim’ from Greek skopos ‘target’, from skeptomai ‘look at’]

  3. Summary Six couples. Twenty-two days to live. Twenty-two different HorrorScopes to fulfil. One couple to survive.

  4. Format HorrorScope is a daily (or alternatively day after) aired program with Twenty-two (22) episodes. The estimated length of each show is twenty-four (24) minutes (net time). HorrorScope is an urban, city-focused program (e.g. Los Angeles, Madrid, London, Paris or Berlin). HorrorScope takes effect where the ordinary people live their life. (In small countries like e.g. Finland, all the couples live under the very same roof in a studio environment or in a big hall.

  5. HorrorScope will resign from other similar programs on the fact that nearly all the events happen at the original scenes e.g. at the workplace and at home or when the contestant moves on the town. Furthermore, the cameras that have been placed in couples’ private rooms and living room offer an additional spice for the program. HorrorScope taxes the contestants’ real courage. Would you be ready to quit your job if your HorrorScope told you so? Would you be able to risk your marriage/relationship just for filling the task given? What’s Hot?

  6. The Look A sample of a screen shot: We see contestant’s Name, HorrorScope, His/Her Strategy Logline and countdown Counter showing when the accomplishment of HorrorScope is about to start. (Live) Mandy telling about her strategy and preparation to today’s HorrorScope A heart symbol (here) reveals which kind of HorrorScope Mandy must fulfill. Day 12 Name Mandy, 28 HorrorScopeMake your husband Tim jealous. Should be peace of cake, huh? Strategy “I’ll buy a piece of cake and I’ll share it intimately with Ryan” Countdown 13 seconds to action Horror-points: 80 Cash: 800 $ Real time Countdown (13,12,11,10 etc.) When turning to 0, cut to the action. Amount of Horror-points & money Mandy has earned so far

  7. HorrorScopes The HorrorScopes should be modifications (Names & layout) on existing generally known global twelve (12) horoscopes. The HorrorScopes are put together by a Game Producer / Scriptwriter utilizing the competitor's background information and from the subjects that have been collected of different horoscopes of the world. In day-specific HorrorScope there are four (4) different HorrorScopes per each Contestant. The Holy Horacle has power to choose which HorrorScope the Contestant will get and what he’ll have to do in order to score and get Horror-points. The issues in Daily HorrorScope are: Work, Love life, Leisure time and Money. Each HorrorScope must include a catch; it mustn’t be too obvious or too easy to follow. You have to scope it, and then do it correctly.

  8. “I Hate You” – votes: People can give limitlessly IHY-votes in the programs website. However, the votes can only be given during the next two hours of each show aired. The given votes cause reduction to the Horror-points earned so far. The Holy Horacle is the judge of HorrorScope and all the HorrorScopes are given by order of Holy Horacle. The Holy Horacle has authority to drop out contestants in each seventh day till four contestants remain. Actually he drops the weakest ones; the ones who have collected least points. (= Points earned minus IHY-votes reduction) First prize is a 3-week vacation to an exotic Horror-target e.g. count Dracula’s castle in Romania – Transylvania, plus the money that the couple are scored during HorrorScope. (E.g. Man earned 500 $, woman 700 $). Questions to think about: If the winning couple consist from two separate pairs, will the contestants go to the dream vacation? And what will the other sides think about that move? Extra’s
