  2. Common Questions You Might Have Before Patent Search And Registration HELLO! I'm here for inform you.

  3. WHAT IS THE PRIORITY RIGHT? The right of priority gives everyone who has filed a first patent search application (or a utility model) in a country (where the Convention is in force) the right to wait for a period of up to twelve months to file applications for the same invention in other countries. If subsequent applications are filed within the said period, any event occurring between the filing of the first application and the filing of subsequent applications will not affect such subsequent applications, in particular, they will not be invalidated due to filings, nor by disclosure nor the exploitation of the invention.

  4. Can I patent an idea? Inventions consisting of products, procedures, manufacturing methods, machines, or apparatus obtained from them are protected. For example, a new formulation for a pharmaceutical product, a machine, or a process for obtaining a product can be applied for patent protection. Carry out a patent search before filing the patent to know about similar inventions.

  5. What conditions must an invention meet to be protected by you with the help of patent agents? The invention must be a product or a procedure that meets three conditions - First, it must be novel, that is, it must not exist worldwide. Second, it must have an inventive level, which is to say, that it is not an obvious development for someone skilled in the matter that deals with the invention. Third, what is invented can be used or manufactured in any industry, that is, it must have an industrial application.

  6. For it to be novel, it is required that the invention does not exist anywhere in the world. You can carry out a patent search to know if any other similar invention is invented or if your particular invention is already patented.

  7. What is the State of the Art? The State of the Art is all the information that is related to the invention, such as publications and databases, physical or electronic. From this information, it is possible to conclude whether the product or procedure to be patented is new. You can use the services offered by the patent agents to know more details about it.
