Diploma in French as a ForeignLanguage (DELF) Our services for you The Alliance Française is the only examination centre in Perth for DELF Prim & Junior exams awarded by the French Ministry of Education. The DELF Prim is the first grade in the DELF series of diplomas and is aimed at all children aged from 8 to 11 years who are beginners in French as a foreign language. At each of the 3 levels (A1.1. to A2), 4 skills are evaluated: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The DELF Junior is a specially adapted version of the DELF diplomas for young people aged from 12 to 17 years. It is also open to all young French citizens who reside in a non-francophone country and who are schooled in local institutions. There are four different diplomas: . DELF Junior A1 & A2 for basic-level users . DELF Junior B1 & B2 for independent usersAt each level, 4 skills are evaluated: listening, speaking, reading and writing DELF Prim & Junior tests are developed according to the same model as the adult version of the DELF, but the topics and material are adapted to young students beginning to learn French.
