This document outlines the current status of the GrocerSmart calibration, which was provisionally approved in 2011. Software calibration needs to be completed, requiring metering on 36 measures, and the protocol is set to sunset in August 2014. As of now, there is no known research being conducted outside of PECI for calibration purposes. PECI is volunteering to meter five sites with ten measures and analyze their results, with findings expected to be shared in August 2014. The RTF may need to decide whether to deactivate the protocol or extend the sunset date to collect more data.
