Where We Are • Glasgow attracts 2.8 million visitors per annum who generate £700 million for the local economy. • 31,000 people were employed in tourism related activities in Glasgow throughout 2005 and 2006, representing 17% of the total tourism workforce in Scotland. • Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is Scotland’s most popular visitor attraction and the 14th most visited museum in the world.
