Typed: 10 pts + Visual : 5 pts + Presentation: 10 pts = 25 Total Points

You are to assume the role of a sales associate for a clothing store that sells trendy clothing appealing to high school girls.

The parts include an “Experienced” and “Less Experienced“ Sales Associate:

A new shipment of skirts are arriving shortly to the store. It is the experienced sales associate’s job to get the floor ready for these skirts.

The experienced sales associate is talking to a recently hired less experienced sales associate. She/He mentions that the skirts that are about to arrive remind you of skirts that were popular during the 60s.

The recently hired sales associate tells her/him that this comment was incorrect because the skirts are brand new.

You role play should include the following:

  • How historical events influence fashion trends
  • How designers seek inspiration from past clothing trends

You will present your role-play to the class in the form of a skit. There must be at least 10 lines of dialogue. You may bring in one more character if five more lines of dialogue is added to the skit
