Preparation • TESTING in Podgorica,February 07: Administration details; 2 big rooms, cassette players?, electric stove, no photocopy machine, no computer • TEACHER TRAINING in Stockholm,March 07: basic aim/needs, shortening from 2 wks to 1 wk; teachers’ background and experiences, a typical Swedish teacher of English?; course content BILC Conference, San Antonio, May 2007

Added value SLOVENIA • Work in a new environment with new people under different conditions • Professional and personal growth • Mutual trust MONTENEGRO, SWEDEN • Introducing testing standards and practices • Tailoring/adapting an existing course to customers’ needs BILC Conference, San Antonio, May 2007

  8. Dilemmas in the system Are ‘mobile’ testers and teacher trainers motivated enough for similar experiences? YES/NO? • Teacher trainers - 3 different statuses within a course (PEP, international network, SLO) • SLO: hrs to compensate/a day off due to weekend travel; poor opportunities for reward or bonus; “investment in building renovation”; PfP LTCoffers international courses for free.
