Design constraints • Purpose: To design a beautiful, functional, and productive landscape plan for a chosen site. • Target audience: Multi-generational. • Size limitations: Landscape size should be manageable. • Materials to be used: Where possible use recycled or reclaimed materials. • Scheduling requirements: 6 to 10 hours to complete all seven design phases. • Budget: Under $5,000.00 U.S.

  3. Project questions • How will the landscape be watered? Im going to run a drip system • What are the drainage needs? Very little to none will be needed with my drip system • What types of organic gardening practices will be employed? Im going to use organic fertilizers such as cow manure. • How can recycled materials be incorporated into the landscape? Im going use plastic edging and plant markers as Popsicle sticks • Will the landscape be used year round or seasonally? Seasonally spring to fall. • Will other structural features be incorporated into the landscape? Fresh water bird bath will be used. • Has a budget been established for the project? Under 5,000 • What is your schedule for completion? 6 -10 hours • What inspires you most about this project? Growing my own food and becoming independent from corporations.
