  6. RECRUITMENT PARTNERS SPEAKS Sudhir Sahni Director-Partnerships, PRADAN Parul Soni Global Managing Partner, Thinkthrough Consulting Pvt. Ltd. “The right talent can make a disproportionate impact on India's social development. ISDM has put together a very robust curriculum and attracted an exciting bunch of young professionals to make this happen.” ISDM's approach is to build partnership, which made it easy for us to recruit candidates of our choice. ISDM is building a community of people from diverse backgrounds, all are passionate about the social development sector. We're pleased with our recruitments and would definitely attend the campus placements again. Ashok Kamat Chairman, Akshara Foundation Srikanth Viswanathan CEO, Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship & Democracy We need a much larger number of thinking and well-rounded youth to invest their time in solving some of the most challenging problems facing humanity. The ISDM Programme seeks to nurture this kind of talent and connect them to civil society organisations. I had the opportunity of spending a day with the first batch of ISDM students and found them to be motivated, energetic, and wanting to make a difference to the world. I believe that these youngsters will bring out a perspective that will be a refreshing change from what we have seen in the past.

  7. Atul Satija Founder & CEO, The Nudge Ashish Dhawan CEO, Central Square Foundation The development sector needs leaders who can build world-class social o r g a n i s a t i o n s b a s e d o n a n understanding of this space. Students from ISDM will help bridge this talent gap. The financial resources available to the social sector have increased significantly, primarily driven by the rise in individual contributions and CSR. More than ever, we now need people who can build world class social organisations with the ability to use these resources more effectively to deliver social impact and change. ISDM students have a critical role to play in this journey. Nidhi Bhasin Deputy CEO, Concern India Foundation Vidya Shah CEO, Edelgive Foundation The moment you interact with the students of ISDM, their confidence, focus, clarity of goals make you realise that this course is beyond what any other development course provides in our country. Each student I interacted with showed a sense of initiative and a need to do something different, definitely something that we need to bring a holistic change in the social and economic situation in India. Though we ended up recruiting after most other recruitments had finished but the institute was very professional with their approach and helped us to recruit a capable and experienced candidate. We are looking forward to have ISDM students work with us during their 8 week Residency to help take forward crucial work that is related to analysing data and preparing a holistic capacity building plan for our grantee organisations while also identifying gender intersectionalities of the work we do.
