  2. Hand block printing is a hereditary art which had been now transformed from generation to generation. It refers to the printing technique of pressing and stamping fabric with carved wooden blocks whichare filled with colours. The Block printing technique is a laborious process. Know that it involves various steps from carving the wooden block to printing the design in the fabric.It will also take more time so that one can get the expected results. Fabric will be laid flat on the table ad the printing will start by dipping the wooden blocks in the colour tray. Now they will press it into the fabric so that the design will be transferred to the fabric. Finally, it will be sun-dried to fix the colour in the fabric.
