  5. In 1835 Prešeren`s uncle Jožef died • Next to that, Prešeren`s friend Čop died

  6. Hededicated Čop severalsongs, includingthe poem Krst pri Savici. • Around 1837 hehad a relationshipwithAnna Jelovšek. • His major works are: Sonetni venec, Nezakonska mati, Poezije, Zdravljica…

  8. France Prešeren died on the 8th February 1849. • Hewasburied on 10 February in Kranj. • Afterhisdeath, some ofhisworkwasdestroyed.
