AP Statistics Adoption Committee Meetings • Committee members met 2 days afterschool • April 3, 2014 • April 15, 2014 • Committee members rotated materials and reviewed them on their own time • Committee criterion to narrowing curriculum choices: • Alignment to AP & Common Core Standards • Technology (ebook, test generator, calculator) • Ancillary materials (answer key, hands-on/project materials) • Assessment (align to AP test, level of difficulty)

  10. Implementation Plan • Orientation of students to textbook structure, problems, AP practice, online resources • Language and practices of univariate data analysis, perhaps with a mini project.

Implementation Plan • Use of hands-on activities to develop understanding. • Orientate students to the State-Plan-Do-Conclude framework to develop good problem solving skills. • Utilize computer lab to familiarize students to on line materials including technology screen casts, worked exercise videos, and the end of chapter on line test.
