Container Managed Relationships CMR

Container Managed Relationships (CMR) enhance the capabilities of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) by allowing relationships between entity beans to be managed by the container. With EJB 2.0, CMR enables developers to define relationships through abstract schema extensions, utilizing local interfaces for better performance. It addresses the limitations of EJB 1.1, which only supported persistent fields without relationship management. By defining abstract accessors for CMR fields, developers can create more efficient data interactions in Java applications deployed within the same server context.
