What’s a College Summit? • A college summit is held at a location where students can be divided into different rooms to listen to presentations from each college. • Fall for Seniors • Spring for Juniors • Presentation length15-20 minutes about admissions, scholarships, housing, and college life. • The students rotate after each presentation to a different college.
Benefits of a College Summit • In depth info about colleges • Individualized attention from recruiter • Smaller setting so students aren't as intimidated and will ask questions (it can be intimidating for a student to approach recruiters at college fairs) • Allows recruiters to meet with a larger number of students and provide better information • Slide shows and videos helps students visualize themselves at that school.
