  1. Tooth Sensitivity

  2. Causes of Tooth Sensitivity • Hard brushing technique or using a hard-bristled toothbrush. • Recession of gums within people suffering from periodontal disease, exposing dentin. • Teeth biting or grinding, Plaque or some of the dental procedures • Consuming more of acidic foods or junk foods.

  3. Tooth Sensitivity after Filling • Tooth sensitivity can be felt even after some dental procedures like filling, root canal etc. • After filling sometimes sensitivity is felt like if a person has biting habit. If still the condition persists, one may need root canal.

  4. Tooth Sensitivity after Whitening Treatments • Teeth whitening treatments contain harsh chemicals which directly or indirectly results in worsening the condition. • They also leave stains and sometimes can remove the enamel which leads to sensitivity.

  5. Sensitive Teeth Treatment • Sensitive teeth cannot be cured or healed permanently. • You can manage this condition by using desensitizing toothpaste, soft bristled brush, avoid highly acidic food. • Use fluoridated mouthwash.
