  1. Today’s summer schools are no longer about prolonged classroom sessions. It goes beyond! With the final exam over, schools are going to remain closed for a couple of months. However, how are you planning to spend your days until you finally decide to apply to university for a full-term course? As you know, university education is going to be different and more advanced in nature from your regular school year. Many ambitious students opt for attending university-level summer courses abroad as it helps them sharpen their minds, hone skills and gain as much knowledge as possible to enhance their university application. At today's summer schools, the academic programmes are more than just a lesson in a classroom. Tutors are committed to providing their students with exceptional learning experiences. Students discover and share novel ideas and concepts in small groups of like-minded peers. In addition, prestigious summer schools have designed curriculum for students to systematically develop their independence and confidence required to thrive further in life. However, summer programmes have both their challenges and unique benefits. students aspiring to succeed both academically and professionally, will want to make the most of their time on the course. The following are reasons why summer school students are often observed to be ahead of their game. Good grades – There are many students, who often do well in summer school. With one course merely to focus on, there are only a little or no distractions at all. Besides, the expedited pace of the entire programme compressed into two weeks often explains the quick developing connections between different learning units. Students typically perform above their common accomplishments under such intensive circumstances. Staying intelligent – Students typically get sluggish during the post exam period and it is no surprise to the summer school tutors. The longer the summer vacations, the more idle students’ minds become,; especially in procedural and factual areas of studies, such as spelling and mathematics. Attending summer course will keep them on-track and their habit of learning in practice. Summer courses are carefully designed to help students encompass both extracurricular and academic sessions. The courses also have workshops to help students unlock

  2. their potential by providing them tools to prepare for advanced studies and future goals. Sense of accomplishment – Summer programmes give students a sense of accomplishment. Instead of spending the break time lying down in a beach and playing video games with your mates, you will study to feed your knowledge more. You will learn new facts and cover extensive topics of your preferred subject. Attending summer school also helps you push your boundaries as you participate in seminars, extracurricular activities, such as sports and plays, give presentations and also argue your ideas. If not this, summer courses also help you revisit a class you had fallen behind. Routine and structure – During the summer break, all that a student wants to do is either watch TV or play video games.. Summer programme students, on the other hand, take advantage of a routine that gives their days a structure. You wake up early to attend classes, learn new topics, argue your point of views with the peers and discuss your mind with your tutors up until 3pm. After a long constructive morning and afternoon, you get back to respective dormitories only to discuss your novel ideas and concepts with your friends more. Learning doesn’t necessarily mean an unending classroom session. To realise that your idea can also be relevant and useful is a learning in itself. In a nutshell, summer schools in the modern help students look through their fears and curiosities by giving them a platform to present them anyway.
