  2. New Zealand’s national centre for family and whānau violence research and information. • We work to support and inform the links between family violence work in research, policy and practice. Funded by the Families Commission

  3. Disseminating information Information provided on family violence statistics, primary prevention, child abuse, IPV, elder abuse, perpetrator programmes and sexual violence. • 641 information requests • 765 registered library borrowers • 34 newsletters emailed to 2870 people

  4. 525 news stories between October 2011 and June 2014 2525 items in electronic & hard copy library 298 local, national and international events posted over 3 years

  5. Over 70,000 unique visitors to the website in 3 years. Approx 100-250 visits per weekday 400-450 visits on newsletter days

  6. Generating Research • 5 journal articles + 3 in press • Letters in JAMA and The Lancet • Report – Family violence indicators: Can administrative data sets be used to measure trends in family violence in New Zealand? • Chapter in A restorative approach to family violence

  7. 5 Data Summaries plus ‘snapshot,’ updated annually (15 total to date) 450 - 1000+ downloads each last year 6 Issues Papers so far 1,500 - 3,000+ downloads each
