Understanding Network Neutrality: Rights and Control in Internet Access

Network neutrality is a fundamental principle that ensures equal treatment of all content on the internet, allowing users complete control over their online experiences. Emerging in the early 2000s, this concept highlights concerns over network providers potentially blocking applications that favor their competitors. This raises critical questions about whether such actions are a form of self-preservation for service providers or an infringement on our rights as internet users. This discourse examines our entitlements in the digital landscape and the implications of network management practices.
