AP Images. Go to the Online Library Click on “Find by Resource” then “Images and Footage”. Choose AP Images Collection. Note: Images are for educational use only and may NOT be altered or used online. Choose a content tab. (Editorial images or More Media).

  1. AP Images • Go to the Online Library • Click on “Find by Resource” then “Images and Footage”. • Choose AP Images Collection. Note: Images are for educational use only and may NOT be altered or used online. • Choose a content tab. (Editorial images or More Media) The content tab which is currently selected will be highlighted by a red-orange bar above & below the tab. 1

  2. AP Images Searching for Images Each tab has a drop down selection. You are looking at the Editorial images tab then “Photos” is selected. Once you click on Photos, you will see several Features including Featured Events, Domestic News, International News, Financial News and Sports. 2

  3. AP Images Click on any of the Features shown in the box on the left, or on any photos. 3

  4. AP Images Searching for Images. Each tab has a drop down selection. You are looking at the More Media tab then “Print Graphics” is selected. Once you click on Print Graphics, you will see several Features including Sports, US Domestic News, International News, and Financial News. 4

  5. AP Images Print Graphics---Click on any of the Photos, or Features listed in box on left. 5

  6. AP Images Search Enter Keyword or search term(s) You can choose a timeframe from the drop down box. 6

  7. AP Images Advanced Search. Find the link to the far right of the search bar. 7

  8. AP Images Advanced Search Advanced options include Keywords, People, Events, Time, Location, etc. 8

  9. AP Images Tools Hover over the photo to get information. 9

  10. AP Images Tools Thumbnails under the photo represent: Select, More options, Download, Quicksave, & View slideshow The download option saves the image without a watermark. The Quicksave image contains an AP watermark. Reminder: Images are for educational use only and may NOT be altered or used online. 10
