  3. Art Festival • Each partner has organized Art Festival in school • Finland • Art Festival week in November: Students working in artistic workshops 2 hours/day in one week • Art Festival exhibition next week after workshops • Grand Canary • working with toy making artist 2 months from the end of October to beginning December 2 hours/day. Students making toys and presentating them and how to play with them. • international competition of Christmas drawings

Poland, drawings of having christmas time in the Comenius Olympism countries • working in the classrooms and exhibition in the school • preparation of the book about christmas celebration in each country • 6 grade children prepared multimedia presentation about christmas celebration in comenius countries • children participated in the competition organised by the spanish school: christmas in my town • drawing pictures of the sports-exhibition

Czech school has made different art production in every month: • Products – sport Sept • Products – life at our school Oct • Products – our free time, making calendar 2005 Nov • Products – Christmas china presents, postcards for friends Dec • Presentation countries on boards – posters Jan • Decoration of school by pupil´s products Feb • Decoration of walls by pupil’s pictures in real size Mar • preparation for Olympic games – boards, flags, invitations Apr • Olympic games May • Making the report books of products 2004-05 Jun

  6. French school • A film production of gods and Olympic games: Creece gods decide to find a solution to avoid wars. They have the idea to propose to the human beeings some game … gods are represent by socks modified hand dolls. • Animation movie drawings of sports • Page marker to the book of the project countries

  7. Knowledge quiz • Every school make a little book about the area (village or town) they live and make a quiz of the book to the end of book • Students in the age of 10-11 years make a book in english and own language • Books should be sent to coordinator in 15th April • All the books are going to be in project websites http://edu.kuopio.fi/olympism • Schools can print as many copies they need and have a learning period before quiz

  8. Sport Olympics • Events are 60m run and running long jump • Age groups are 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13 • In May (Finland, Grand Canary and Czech Republic) and in June (France and Poland) • 3 best results of each age group should be sent to the coordinator as soon as possible after the games

  9. Reports of the year • The reports of the year should be done to the meeting in Czech Republic • Art, Knowledge quiz and Sport olympics. How did you organize them • Other activities • Meetings and visits • who visited your country and who other countries • How many students (boys/girls) and teachers (male/female) participated to project activities this year

  10. Difficulties • The common language of the project is english • There has been some problems of understanding at time to time • Getting lost in a big cities in hard traffic • Getting your passport lost while starting your travel • Getting all the partners same time to the meeting to make decisions

  11. Best in the project • Meet collegues and students around the Europe • Get touch to other cultures and lifestyles • See the best parts of the schoolsystems in each country • Talk about the problems and solve them together • Build bridges between nations • Get more knowledge about other nationalities and their everyday life
