History & Evolution • Led by a group of visionary enthusiasts the department of MSc (Computer Science) was formed in 2001. • With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department started the three years Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme in the year 2007 with the intake of 60.

  3. VISION • To become a center of Excellence for professional education. • To expand internship opportunities for our students . • To create top quality successful and sustainable programs and curricula for our students.

  4. MISSION • To offer a high-quality education in the science of computing. • To impart strong fundamental knowledge in thrust areas. • To offer students in other disciplines an appropriate foundation in computing for their education. • Our Department engages in outreach activities.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the evolving computer science landscape. • Support and encourage faculty participation at conferences. • To be able to work in groups and appreciate the dynamic and collaborative nature of problem solving. • To successfully apply the fundamentals of computer science to solve software-oriented computing problems.

  8. INFRASTRUCTURE and LEARNING RESOURCES Computer Lab The department has an air-conditioned dedicated sophisticated, well equipped lab with all the latest technologies.

The student was awarded Rs.5,000/- cash prize. • P. Bharath Kumar of III MCA (2010-11) has done an in-house project • “Library Management System” and received Rs.5,000/- cash prize. • Ashok Kumar of III MCA receiving a cash prize of Rs 5000/- from the college President V.UmaMaheswaraRao
