Journal of Genomics & Gene Study

The Journal Genomics & Gene Study is one of the most interdisciplinary fields of science that study of the full genetic complement of an organism (genome). It employs recombinant DNA, DNA sequencing methods, and bioinformatics to sequence, assembles, and analyse the structure and function of genomes. The journal defines genomics as "diagnosis, prognosis, prevention and/or treatment of disease and disorders of the mind and body, using approaches informed or enabled by knowledge of the genome and the molecules it encodes." Relevant and high-impact papers that encompass studies of individuals, families, or populations are considered for publication. Emphasis will include coupling detailed phenotype and genome sequencing information, both enabled by new technologies and informatics, to delineate the underlying aetiology of the disease. Clinical recommendations and/or guidelines of how that data should be used in the clinical management of those patients in the study, and others, are also encouraged.<br>The journal is committed to providing an efficient publishing service to the community. An expert Editorial Advisory Board, independent editors and a streamlined peer-review system enable rapid and fair decision making through to publication. The final manuscripts will also be enhanced by the editorial process making them attractive and accessible to the broad readership of the journal.<br>Submit manuscript at https://www.imedpub.com/submissions/genomics-gene-study.html or send as an e-mail attachment to the Editorial Office at manuscripts@imedpub.co<br>

It has nearly 25 million website visitors along with the respective subject experts of about 25,000. In a short span of time, it is able to release its 2 volumes with one issue each. Editorial Letter Genomics is an interdisciplinary field of biology focusing on the structure, function, evolution, mapping, and editing of genomes. A genome is an organism's complete set of DNA, including all of its genes. In contrast to genetics, which refers to the study of individual genes and their roles in inheritance, genomics aims at the collectivecharacterization and quantification of all of an organism's genes, their interrelations and influence on the organism. Genes may direct the production of proteins with the assistance of enzymes and messenger molecules. In turn, proteins make up body structures such as organs and tissues as well as control chemical reactions and carry signals between cells. Genomics also involves the sequencing and analysis of genomes through uses of high throughput DNA sequencing and bioinformatics to assemble and analyze the function and structure of entire genomes. Advances in genomics have triggered a revolution in discovery-based research and systems biology to facilitate understanding of even the most complex biological systems such as the brain. During the calendar year 2019, IPGGS received a total of 14 papers, out of which 7 articles (50%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format. During 2019 around 7 articles were subjected to the peer-review process and 5 of those were accepted. In the issue, a total of 5 articles were published of which, 50% articles were by foreign authors. A total of 15 research scientists from India and abroad reviewed 5 articles published in volume. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 6-8 weeks. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of IPGGS for their support in bringing out yet another volume of IPGGS and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 3 of IPGGS in scheduled time. The objectives of the upcoming issue for IPGGS is to publish the study of the full genetic complement of an organism (genome) employing recombinant DNA, DNA sequencing methods, and bioinformatics to sequence, assemble, and analyse the structure and function of genomes. The journal is committed to providing an efficient publishing service to the community. First of all, I would like to thank the Editorial assistant of this journal who added me In the Editorial team of this journal based on my research interest and contributions towards the field for Genetic Research. I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, all issues of Journal of Genomics & Gene Study (IPGGS)volume 2 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. I wish all the luck to the Journal of Genomics & Gene Study (IPGGS) to release its upcoming issue in 2020. Despite of new Journal, the Journal of Genomics & Gene Study has gained some importance in its field.
