  1. How to Transfer Contacts from One Samsung to Another Got a new Samsung Galaxy and need to transfer all your contacts onto it from your old one? Don’t worry, there’s an easy way to do it! To Start (For devices running Android Nougat, Marshmallow and Lolipop) 1.Swipe up or down to access your apps 2. Select ‘contacts’ Devices running Android Nougat 3.Tap the three dots in the top right-hand side corner 4. Select ‘manage contacts’ 5. Select ‘import/export contacts’ 6. You will then be able to either import or export your contacts, by choosing where to and where from. In this guide, we will show you how to import contacts from your SIM card to your phone (you can follow the same basic path based on what you need to do. (e.g. to export instead, select ‘export’)

  2. 7. Select where you want to export/import from. Here, we are importing from the SIM card 8. Tap the contacts you want to copy or, to select all, tick at the top of the screen to select all. Once you have selected the contacts, tap ‘done’ 9. Select where you want to move the contacts to. In the below example, we have selected ‘Phone’ 10. Select import/export to confirm Devices running Android Marshmallow 3. Select ‘more’ in the top-right hand side corner 4. Select ‘settings’ 5. Select ‘import/export contacts’

  3. 6. Tap import/export depending on which you want to do (here, we will select Import but you can follow the same basic path based on what you need to do e.g. to export select ‘export’) 7. Choose the where you want to import or export your contacts from. Here, we are importing from the SIM card, although the steps will be the same for all. 8. Choose where you want to save your contacts 9. Select the contacts you want to move or click the box in the top left corner to select all 10.Tap ‘done’ to confirm Devices running Android Lollipop 3. Select the dots in the top right-hand side corner 4. Select ‘settings’

  4. 5. Select ‘contacts’ 6. Select ‘import/export contacts’ 7. You will be presented with a list of options for importing or exporting contacts. We have selected to Export to SD card, but the steps will be the same for all the options. Select the option you wish to choose 8. Press ok to confirm your selection
