Myanmar's Economy * Resource rich country that is controlled by government. * The GDP per capita is 1,300 dollars . * Main exports are natural gas, wood products, pulses, and fish products * Main imports are fabric, petroleum, fertilizer, and plastics. * 32% of population is unemployed. * The government rejects foreign aid. * A farmer in Myanmar

  4. Currency of Myanmar * Currency is called Myanmar Kyat. * The conversion of US dollars to Myanmar Kyat is 1 dollar to 400 Myanmar Kyat.

Myanmar’s ClimateMyanmar’s Climate * Myanmar has a tropical monsoon climate. * During the dry season it is hard to grow crops, during monsoon season flooding is common. * Plants that grow are teak trees, pulses, beans, bamboo ect. * Wildlife that thrives here are Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, Indian elephants, Giant pandas. Pulses are beans that thrive in Myanmar’s wet climate
