Merger Announcement • WiBAN-SMA are happy to announce that an agreement has been reached to move forward in TG6 • The two groups will be supporting the following documents to be included in the TG6 Draft: • 10-0195-02 – Narrowband PHY • 10-0196-02 – MAC and Security • 10-0198-01 – UWB PHY • 10-0201-01 – HBC (EFC) • Both teams are committed to achieving a letter ballot by May or July 2010 meeting Huan-Bang Li, NICT and E.   5. Agreement on HBC/EFC • Commitment to improve HBC/EFC including harmonization of preambles, packet structure between HBC/EFC and other narrowband PHY’s, etc. • Commitment: • To resolve transmit power concerns • To ensure that the maximum level shall be chosen to mitigate against interference to other 15.6 devices and electrophysiological and other medical devices • Commitment to comply with safety and spectrum regulations and guidelines for HBC/EFC • Commitment to update TG6 regulatory document applicable to HBC/EFC and include in the regulatory document Huan-Bang Li, NICT and E.
