Toiminnallisuus (1/2) • Ennaltaehkäisy • Varoitetaan muistihäiriöistä kotoa poistumisesta • Toiminto laukaistaan, kun epäsuotuisan poistumisen ehdot täyttyvät ja henkilö lähestyy ulko-ovea • Epäsuotuisan poistumisen ehdot ovat tietty kellonaika ja mahdollisesti myös ulkolämpötila • Ennaltaehkäisyn menetelmät • Ensisijaisesti visuaalinen viesti • Tarpeeksi iso ja kirkas varoitusteksti • Värit? • Ääniviestit • Implementointi? • Lankapuhelimen hyödyntäminen GSM-modeemilla

Toiminnallisuus (2/2) • Hälyttäminen • Tekstiviestihälytys lähetetään, jos henkilö poistuu kotoaan epäsuotuisan poistumisen ehtojen täyttyessä • Poistumiseksi määritellään tapahtuma, jossa henkilö astuu rappukäytävään ja sulkee oven perässään. • Tekstiviestihälytykselle tulisi voida asettaa useita puhelinnumeroita (omaiset, kotihoito)
