  3. Physical features • Insects live all over the world. • They can live in cold regions, hot rainforests, deserts, mountains, caves, and fresh waters.

  4. The Life Cycle • Most insects hatch from eggs. • Some are born alive. • There are two life cycles found in insects.

  5. Butterflies And Moths • Butterflies and moths are related. • There are 100,000 species of butterflies and moths.

  6. Butterflies Appetite • Adult butterflies lay eggs on leaves. • Adult butterflies eat nectar and caterpillars eat leaves.

  7. Physical Features • Butterflies and moths have many features in common. • Butterflies and moths vary great in size. • The length of their wings spread out ranges from about 0.2 inches to 12 inches

  8. Facts About Butterflies And Moths • Butterflies start out as caterpillars. • Butterflies have four stages of growth: egg, caterpillar, pupa, butterfly. • Moths are nocturnal but butterflies are not.
