Founded in 1875 • Bauer media was published in January 2008 • Bauer media is another media group they are knowing worldwide • They offer over 300 magazines in 15 different countries, as well as online, TV and radio stations. • It is also a large Germany publishing company based in hamburg • It was formally called Heinrich Bauer Verlag KG abbreviated to HBV

  4. When did it begin? The Rolling stones music magazine first begun in 1967 it was first published on November 9th 1967. The magazine was found in San Franciso.

  5. Who publishes it? • The magazine is published by a man named Jann Wenner who is also the founder, along side music critic Ralph J. Gleason and has own media business called Wenner media.

  6. Mission Statement Rolling stones mission statement: Goes beyond just taking a pulse of youth culture. Whether the subject is music, TV, movies or politics – over 12million young Americans trust and turn to rolling stone every two weeks to keep them up to date on the subjects they care about most.   11. When did it begin? Q magazine was first published in October 1986. Mark Ellen and David Hepworth were the founders of Q magazine Q magazine have a close relationship with Glastonbury festival they produce free daily papers during the festival and also a review magazine after the festival.

  14. The social demographic of its audience • Q Magazine is a rock magazine, their target audience is for older people- mature music lovers, not teens and young adults.

  18. Other information • Q magazine was going to be named ‘Cue’ as in cue the music but they changed this as they didn’t want it to come across as a snooker magazine. • The fact that it is a one letter masthead makes it unique and attracts the readers attention.
