    5. A 2020 vision in 2010 successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve  confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives  responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.

    21. The 3 Stages of Change Saying Goodbye to the Comfort Zone It’s not just about changing personal preference, it’s about giving up a way of performing tasks that has seemed successful in the past

Shifting into the Neutral Zone The Neutral Zone, where the old way has gone but the new has not yet fully arrived, is the most difficult stage to be in It’s uncomfortable, so people’s natural reaction is to get out of it asap: but this is the mistake that more than any other has ruined opportunities for lasting change

    23. The New Beginning It can be exciting to leave the past, it can be exciting to plan the future, but now it actually has to be delivered!

    24. The New Beginning If the culture is one of blame, of punishing mistakes (and if this culture has not been part of the things that have changed) change will be slow and painful

    25. The New Beginning But if we take our time recognise our success and work on our mistakes the result will be high motivation, close co-operation and effective change
