  7. Rankine Cycle • Water is the working fluid in an ideal Rankine cycle. Steam enters the turbine at 1400psi and 1000o F. The condenser pressure is 2psi. The net power of the cycle is 1 X 106 Btu/hr. Cooling water experiences a temperature increase from 60 o F to 76o F. • Find the mass flow rate of steam (lbm/hr), heat transfer rate in boiler (Btu/hr), thermal efficiency (%), and cooling water rate (lbm/hr).
