  1. All about AC drives for HVAC

  2. The AC drives for HVAC have been very effective tools for the purpose of energy management. The ac drive, also known as a variable speed drive, has been successfully installed on the fan as well as pump motors in many variable load applications. The variable speed compressors work by maintaining the air pressure constantly. They adjust the motor speed so that it can meet the air demand as required.

  3. AC drives for HVAC The AC drives for HVACare continuously evolving, becoming more powerful as well as useful. They provide a number of benefits to industrial applications. Many of the traditional building HVAC applications have been developed for the operation of fans and pumps at a continuous speed. Mechanical throttling is able to provide a good level of control. However, it is not a very efficient solution. The AC drives tend to offer an effective alternative. When the HVAC system capacity is matched to the actual load, this leads to major energy savings. There is also considerably decreased wear and tear on the motors. When the motor connected to the AC drive starts, the drive tends to apply a low voltage and frequency to the motor. Both are increased in a gradual and controlled manner, which leads to an extension in the life of the motor. As a result of the growing acceptance of AC drive units as well as the energy and maintenance advantages they offer, many manufacturers are now incorporating AC drive controls in their systems for industrial applications.

  4. Variable speed compressors Variable speed compressors use a drive system for altering the speed of the motor continuously and matching the air demand. This drive will control the unit’s speed by fluctuating the amount of power that matches the required output. If the demand is low, the motor speed will be reduced by the compressed air system, and hence, the consumption of power is also decreased. This leads to reduced costs and fewer instances of power surges. The reduced system pressure will also decrease the leakage risk. The variable-frequency drive will convert the incoming AC power to DC and then again back to an AC power with the help of an inverter switching circuit. These compressors are extremely efficient and a popular choice for high-performance industrial settings.
