The design offers usability and aesthetics and features open space, clean, bright colors and 2D illustrations. Here are some of the common principles involved with flat design: Color and Typography– Vibrant and bright colors are included in the flat web design. Web designers are using different color schemes. It can use up to 6 colors, each color can be used to highlight a specific button or a link. On the other bold often retro typography is used that allows setting an appropriate design tone for a project. Use a typeface that is simple, clean, and easy to read Minimalistic Design Minimalism plays an important role and can change the visual appearance of the design. Flat design doesn’t use animations, any textural or 3D elements. However, as good designers will still be able to design an impressive layout with simple UI elements. - One-dimension icons and ghost buttons are also an important part of the flat design, as they do not have the 3D appearance that typical icons have.
