  1. Movements of the low beta quadrupoles D. Missiaen

  2. Realignmentsoperations Vertical and Roll angle position Tranversal position LBOC - 21/11/2011

  3. Realignments LBOC - 22/11/2011

  4. Vertical position : calculationprinciple • Points in the caverncalculated in Summer 2009 and considered as fixed • Relative movementsmeasuredwith permanent monitoring system LBOC - 22/11/2011

  5. IR1- vertical • Global tendancy to go upwards • Realignmentotbeenvisaged for Q3 and Q2L and Q2 and Q3R LBOC - 22/11/2011

  6. IR1- Roll angle • All within +-0.2 mrad – No degradation LBOC - 22/11/2011

  7. IR2- vertical • Very stable except Q1R2 LBOC - 22/11/2011

  8. IR2- Roll angle • Very stable – No degradation LBOC - 22/11/2011

  9. IR5- vertical • Q2L is a bit strange – otherwiserather stable LBOC - 22/11/2011

  10. IR5- Roll angle • After correction fo 2011 : OK LBOC - 22/11/2011

  11. IR8- vertical • Tendancy to go upwards on the Leftside – Right israther stable LBOC - 22/11/2011

  12. IR8- roll angle • Q3 and Q2L are a bit far LBOC - 22/11/2011

  13. Transversal position : calculationprinciple • In IR 1 and 5, 2 points in the SU gallerywerecalculated in Summer 2009 and considered as fixed • In pt 2 and 8, calculationisfixed on Q1 and Q3 on eachside. For thispurpose new sensors, independantfrom triplets, have been installedbeginning 2011 LBOC - 22/11/2011

  14. IR1- transversal • Slightdegradation - Rotation of manymagnetsespecially Q2L LBOC - 22/11/2011

  15. IR2- transversal • Verysmallmovements LBOC - 22/11/2011

  16. IR5- transversal • Relative degradation on the Leftside. Ok on right side LBOC - 22/11/2011

  17. IR8- transversal • Very few data ….. But seems to be stable LBOC - 22/11/2011

  18. Movementsproposed • Absolute Vertical measurementswillbedoneduring the Winter TS • No movementwillbedoneuntilwe have the results • IP1 : • V : Q3 and Q2 on eachside to belower • H : rotation of Q2L • IP2 • V : Q1R to belowered • H : nothing • IP5 • V : Q3L to belowered • H : all magnets on the L side • IP8 • V : Q3 and Q2L to belowered, roll angle to beadjusted • H : nothing LMC - 02/03/2011
