Title II-IFC Two Chillers (425 tons/ea), Primary and Secondary CHW loops and Pumps BTH,UH,EBD,FEE, NEH and FEH One Boiler (150 BHP/ea) Primary and Secondary HW loops and pumps DDC Temperature Control System to be connected to SLAC network via Web Control One Air Compressor (268 SCFM@150psi), Air Dryer and Receiver. Will provide service to: BTH, UH, EBD, FEE, NEH,X-RAY, FEH Wet Sprinkler System-Ordinary Hazard Group 1 One AHU for electrical room Mechanical room for NEH HVAC system (MAU) CENTRAL UTILITY PLANT (CUP)

CP Procurement • Based on early estimates, budget was established at $350K • Bids were solicited Aug 07 for CxA (Commissioning Agent) • 5 CxA bidders invited • 4 bidders responded and all 4 were within budget! • Technical evaluation by CF group is complete • Weighted point score • Awarded to Engineering Economics Inc (EEI) at $229K

Summary • Roles and responsibilities are clear • Expectations are documented and well understood • CxA will be assigned to work with trades, SLAC Facilities maintenance staff and LCLS CF Engineering group • Goal is to deliver a complete and functional project with all MEP systems fully operational, inspected, tested, verified and documented
