  2. Classifying Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4… Let’s start on the inside…what are natural numbers? Natural numbers are the counting numbers… 1, 2, 3, 4 …

  3. Classifying Numbers 0, 1, 2, 3… 1, 2, 3, 4… Next come the whole numbers Whole numbers are zero and the natural numbers.

  4. -2, -1, 0, 1, 2… Classifying Numbers 0, 1, 2, 3… 1, 2, 3, 4… Integers Integers are whole numbers and their opposites.

  5. -2, -1, 0, 1, 2… Classifying Numbers 0, 1, 2, 3… 1, 2, 3, 4… Rational numbers can be written in the form and Includes all repeating and terminating decimals
