  3. System Overview Tag • Hardware • Program taroko nodes • Beacon • Sink & Relay (MD) • User tags • Software • Position system Tag Tag TestBed USB Internet Position System (Server, 140.112.42.161) Position System (client, any computers)

  4. Hardware - servers • 實驗室 (621) • IP: 140.112.42.161 • Name/Password: nslab/ns621 • Polly辦公室 (613) • IP: 140.112.42.157 • Name/Password: nslab_winpc/ns621

  5. Hardware – user tag • Need 2 tag, one with bio sensor • Can be programmed from 140.112.42.161 • cd /opt/justinh/demo/apps/Localization/tag • Type “make telosb install.ID bsl,COM-1” in cygwin • ID: id number, COM-1: com port number - 1 • Be Carefull !! • Check the ID of bio sensor and then program the tag with same ID

  6. Hardware – testbed • Login 140.112.42.161 • Open cygwin • In cygwin console • cd /opt/justinh/demo/apps/scripts • ./system-allinone-161 • Login 140.112.42.157 • Open cygwin • In cygwin console • cd /opt/tinyos-1.x/justinh/demo/apps/scripts • ./system-allinone-157

  7. Software – Server • Login 140.112.42.161 • Open Position System • All setting should be load automatically ( map, beacon, …) • Connection > Serial Port > Connect • Select COM103, baurate57600 • Connection > Internet > Server > Connect • Choose a port number • Check the data is shown at “Connection Log” page • Toggle, View > User and Bio • Press “Start”

  8. Software – Client • Any Computers • Open Position System • All setting should be load automatically ( map, beacon, …) • Connection > Internet > Client > Connect • 140.112.42.161:[PORT] • Check the data is shown at “Connection Log” page • Toggle, View > User and Bio • Press “Start”

  9. Possible Troubles • Taroko programming fail • Check the message after typing “./system-allinone-161,157” • A taroko is programming successfully if “Reset device…” is shown • Solution: Re-program, re-plug USB, re-boot computer • Serial port connection fail • Re-start Position System, re-boot computer
