  3. The first three we rated as the lower quality websites based on the aforementioned criterion. • Issues observed: • Poor color schemes • Confusing Layouts • Excessive video streaming • Lack of opinion editorial

  4. Yahoo! Sports Yahoo! Sports

  5. Yahoo! Sports • Pros: • Few ads • Connection to popular fantasy sports • Scoreboard and schedule on front page • Cons: • Excessive streaming video in headlines section • Unappealing headline section • Unfamiliar “experts” giving commentary

  6. USA Today – Sports USA Today - Sports

  7. USA Today - Sports • Pros: • Lots of content • Cons: • Extremely cluttered layout – hard to navigate • Excessive scrolling necessary • Unclear headline scroll • Unappealing color scheme • Unorganized news section • Some sections hard to differentiate from ads

  9. FOX Sports • Pros: • Schedule banner on top of page • Customizable • Good content • Cons: • Too blue • Excessive scrolling • No preview for news section • Unclear headline scroll • Poor story organization

  14. Sports Illustrated • Cons: • So much content can appear cluttered • No preview under each news link • Pros: • Variety of content • Clear headlines • Market experts well • Lack of scrolling necessary • Well displayed scoreboard at top of homepage
