National park KORNATI • In the central part of the Croatian Adriatic, on the delta of Sibenik and Zadar town, there is a separate and amazing group of islands called Kornati.. • Today, the Kornati National Park occupies an area of 220 km2 and includes 89 islands and islets, with approximately 238 km of coastline. Despite this relatively large number of islands, the continental part of the park makes less than one fourth the total area, while the rest of it is beutiful ecosystem. www.ibci.hr

Neretvan’s marathon • Neretvan’s marathon is an amateur sports competition in the race boats, traditional indigenous craft in the valley of the Neretva. It is held annually the second Saturday in August, route is 22,500 feet long. Marathon is held under the patronage of the President of the Republic, and is organized by the Neretva’s river boatman union. www.ibci.hr

  16. Blue Cave Around midday the sea is calm the sun's rays penetrate through an underwater opening in the Blue cave, reflect the bottom of the cave and illuminate it with blue color. The cave has two openings, one small, artificially deepened, through which it may be funny, and this opening has no impact on the lighting in the cave. www.ibci.hr
