  2. HOW CAN DECISIONS BE MADE? Autocratic: one person (or a select few) makes the decisions for the whole group. Group members have little or no input into the decision. Democratic:decisions are reached by giving each member of a group a vote. Consensus:the group makes a decision only when all members of the group agree

  3. Consider the following scenarios: A family is trying to decide how household duties will be shared A basketball team must decide who will be the starting players for the game A class is trying to choose one activity for fundraising A group of friends is deciding what movie or club to go to The principal is asking for input on what to do to prevent locker break-ins

  4. Choose THREE scenarios with your group. Consider the pros and cons of each decision making method in each scenario. Create a Pros and Cons chart for your THREE scenarios listing the pros and cons of each decision making style. Pros Cons Autocratic Democratic Consensus

  5. Different types of decision making styles lead to different types of leadership and different types of governments.
