  2. Problem Description This tutorial guides the user through the process of registering an Excel spreadsheet in FRAMES and accessing the spreadsheet under the Tools menu. Spreadsheet Name: TimetoPeakGW.xls Spreadsheet Function: ● Estimates Time-to-Peak based on dispersion, retardation, and degradation/decay ● Cross-correlates physical-chemical properties Spreadsheet Location: “C:\Program Files\FramesV2\Spreadsheets\TimetoPeakGW.xls 2

  3. Signifies that the Domains are locked Signifies that the Domains are unlocked Unlock Domains 3

  4. System Modules are added to the Tools Drop-down Menu 4

  5. Add a New Module (*.MOD) Identify Folder Location Identify File Name, which creates the *.mod file 5

  6. Choose: Executable Information 6

  7. 1. Check Tools Executable, based on EXCEL.exe 2. Choose an icon 3. Under Executable, browse for EXCEL.exe 4. Under Arguments, identify the location of File, with file name (quotes are required): “C:\Program Files\FramesV2\Spreadsheets\TimetoPeakGW.xls” 7

  8. A batch file has been written to eliminate the need to register the Excel.exe. • “Executable,” based on LaunchFile.bat, located in C:\Program Files\FramesV2 8

  9. The new Excel spreadsheet, titled “TimetoPeakGW,” is registered and available under the Tools menu. 9
