  18. Bylaws Change • Proposed bylaw change 1: • The Board proposes to change Article VIII, Section 4 to add No additional nominees may be added to the slate once the 10 day notification period has occurred. • Rationale: It has previously been unclear whether nominees may be added to the slate after the 10 day notification period occurs. This change clarifies that a nominee MAY NOT be added to the ballot after the notification period closes. • Motion: “I move that the general membership accept the proposed change to Article VIII, Section 4 to close nominations once the 10 day notification has been made to the membership.”

  19. Bylaws Change • Proposed bylaw change 2: • The Board proposes to change Article VIII, Section 9 to add The Nominating committee will inform the membership that nominations have opened within one week of the June board meeting. All Board positions and their qualifications will be identified in the notice and the final date for applications will be stated. • Rationale: Our survey reflected that some members were unclear about when and how to apply for a board position. The Board believes that adding the language above will help to clarify the process. • Motion: “I move that the general membership accept the change to Article VIII, Section 9 to clarify the nominations process.”
