HOW TO DO A FLIPTURN Jake G.
Last Strokes • At the flags, take two more breaths • Make the rest of your strokes pulls powerful.
The Entry • On the last pull, push head to your chest and tighten your abs.
Butterfly Push • Kick a butterfly kick down to propel your body into a flip.
In The Flip • Bend your knees into the wall • You should be upside down, under water.
The Shot • When in position, your knees will act like a spring and shoot you off of the wall.
Off The Wall • You should be shot very fast off of the wall.
Streamline • Place your arms in a streamline position (extended above head).
Turn • Now, turn to your left until you are on your stomach.
Power Kick • do three butterfly kicks (flutter kick with feet together).
Freestyle Kick • After the fly kick, do freestyle kick until you reach the surface.
The Pull • When you reach the surface do three power pulls without breathing.
The New Lap • Breath and start swimming your new lap with speed.
