Status Update on Summer 2013 Upgrade Phase 1 Production and Sample Availability

  3. !IMPORTANT! • Some Feedback received after my call made at the Last USSTF meeting • Missing VBF Higgs to tau tau with PU0 & PU 70 (only 140 available) •  injected, will be produced quickly • (non urgent) dark matter samples • LHE file in preparation, will proceed once available • Please check that all the samples you need are there! (In particular PU=0 but not only) • I do think that the samples needed are all produced now, but worth x-checking • Need additional samples? Please let me know ASAP • Be aware that from ~mid of next week, I will be away for 2 weeks , so I would like to make sure everything is launched or will be launched before I leave • In case of , the usual mailing list to reach pdmv/prod is • hn-cms-prep-ops@cern.ch

Upgrade Release SLHC8 • Usual Fullsim samples will be requested (2017-2019 scenario) • Once global tags for aging finalized will request aging relvals too • First set of Fastsim samples (SingleMu, Ttbar, MinBias) Submitted • Fastsim with TrackerPhase1, TrackerPhase2 • Fastsim sequences inclding validation sequences (DQM plots)
