The logger heading battle between Linux and Window hosting usage is hard to comprehend for many, since both the opertaing systems have been powerfully efficient and it has been a head scratching debate on to opt for which system. Lets have a brief introduction about both the Operating Systems ; Windows, developed and marketed by Microsoft, is a graphical operating sytem designed for people with no or less technological knowledge.While Linux is an open source operating system providing programming as well as graphical intereface experience, meant for technical users. For many web servers and users, Linux has evidently been considered as a more secure and efficient OS, as it can fit range of systems and the way it handles user-permission, unlike, Best Windows Hosting Company that require higher hardware operations. There has been one drawback with Linux, that is, it is not as popoluar as Windows, thereby there are certain applications which are difficult to find. A Window server offers more range and products than the Linux Servers. The trouble shooting interface of Linux is more complicated than Windows. However, the scenario is changing and web servers are prefering Linux OS for its advanced web features, realibality and security. Linux offers the access to source code benefit wherein the users can alter the kernel according to their neeed, whereas in Windows, users cannot accesss the source code. It has been seen that hackers have had a toughtime in finding loopholes in Linux security, while, Windows has its share of malware and viruses by the attackers. In conclusion, the IT world is vast and usage domain is expanding. Windows has had its share of popularity but in advancing times, the web servers and business conglomorates are moving towards Linux OS.
