  1. The Genuine Definition of Patriotism: Devoted love, support, and defense of one’s country. By Michelle Church & Lauren Brough

  2. 4 Words to Describe Patriotism • Allegiance- loyalty. • Mettle- boldness, strength of character. • Intrepidity- courage. • Determination- perseverance. • We believe that these four words represent what a true Patriot is.

  3. Quotes • Classic Quote: "Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace." -Amelia Earhart • “As president I will call on Americans to display their patriotism through community service… ...those who are fighting for a better America here at home, by teaching in underserved schools, or caring for the sick in understaffed hospitals, or promoting more sustainable energy policies in their local Communities” ~BarackObama

  4. Classic Photo We believe this photo is patriotic because it shows the soldiers are devoted to their country and are working hard for its freedom.

  5. Current Photo This man was so devoted, he gave his life for our country. The people around him are showing respect by holding up a flag in his honor. We believe this is patriotic.

  6. Opposite Of Patriotic This picture is not only disturbing, but the complete opposite of patriotic. It disrespects the flag by using red paint to represent blood and is written on, showing no love for our Country.

  7. Something Extra Invisible Soldier You can tell her by the twinkle in her eye,At parades when the flag marches by.She served our country and she served it very well. Some have even served a tour or two in Hell. She suffered hardship and never ceased to care.It gave us strength just to know that she was there. She was a leader, you could tell by the rank she wore,But she became the invisible soldier after the war.She can march, she can fly, and she can sail. She proved that bravery isn't exclusive of the male. She did every job she was asked and more,But she became the invisible soldier after the war. Now, it is finally time to right a wrong.Honor our sister soldier; hear her song. It's very clear that she's a patriot to the core.Don't let her be the invisible soldier anymore....1995 SargeLintecum
