HHSC/CMS Ongoing Approval Process • There will eventually be another final RHP Plan Submission • CMS only approving projects for DY2 and DY3 • CMS will evaluate Projects for DY4 and DY5 revisions and approvals • HHSC will contract with an independent entity to monitor the progress of DSRIP projects and make recommendations to facilitate the success of the projects • Based on this assessment, CMS and HHSC may require prospective changes for DY4 and DY5 • DSRIP providers will be required to submit semi-annual reports to HHSC on the progress of projects PFM Protocol Revised April 4, 2013 • Full Approval of projects will be determined by CMS on September 1, 2013. • If the project does not receive full valuation approval at that date, there will be another opportunity to receive full approval by March 31, 2014. • The project scope can be modified or the value can be modified
