Toward Sonoanalytical Chemistry

报告人简介: Prof.Jiye Jin

Jiye Jin is now working in Faculty of Science in Shinshu University. The current research interests have been in the application of electrochemical methods to the study of chemical problems, including the investigations in sonochemistry, and electroanalytical applications. He received awards including ‘Tokai Chemical Industries Association Prize 2000’, ‘The Takeda Techno-Entrepreneurship Award 2001’ (T. Takeuchi, J. Jin), and ‘Young Researcher Award of theSonochemical Society of Japan 2002’.

报告内容:

Ultrasound is an oscillating sound pressure wave with a frequency greater than the upper limit of the human hearing range. There are two types of effects mediated by ultrasound: chemical and physical. Irradiation of ultrasonic waves in the solution induces cavitation in a solution, which generates a short-lived localized hot-spot. On the other hand, a variety of physical effects, shock wave, the acoustic streaming or the acoustic radiation force that can be produced in the ultrasonic standing wave fields. The lecture will attempt to provide the recent research challenges by using of ultrasound in analytical science.
