Preston City Council Active Communities

Preston City Council's vision for a growing and vibrant city in the North West, achieved through partnership with stakeholders. The council's priorities include city investment, tackling deprivation, improving neighborhoods, and ensuring well-run services. The Physical Activity and Sports Strategy aims to increase participation and improve infrastructure. Budget constraints require efficiency savings and reductions. The common goal is achieved through constructive planning, consultation, cohesion, collaboration, and communication. The Insight Park project, endorsed by various partners, has seen significant usage and success. The key to consultation is listening.
